Union Orientation + Social at CUMC
As your Postdocs and Associate researchers collages we are organizing an orientation and social on Monday September 12th at 6pm on P&S, room 12-460B.
For new postdocs and Associate researchers: Welcome to Columbia! For the rest, let’s start the 2022-2023 Academic year getting together and discussing what we want to win on our next contract.
At our orientation, we’d love to
– introduce ourselves, and the union and meet the postdocs/ARs elected to negotiate our next contract;
– help orient you to the university;
– familiarize you with your rights under our union contract;
– and facilitate a social space for you and other new postdocs and ARSs. There will be food and drinks!
