Hundreds of Postdocs\/ARSs colleagues from all over Columbia have already signed up! <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/JTXKabSYZs5Xh3117\">Sign here<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udcab So many things will happen in April!! \ud83d\udcab<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>On Thursday, 13th: April Membership meeting<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Bargaining Committee has finalized our <strong>contract\u2019s package<\/strong> that will be presented to Columbia University on April 20th, the first day of <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/GxoDis7fNRDWLnBW9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">contract negotiations<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>April Membership meeting will be the last time to review and finalize the package, you can also give suggestions in advance &gt; <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/GxoDis7fNRDWLnBW9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Add&nbsp; any final comment here!<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/gzWF3xThgtzfEKQp9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RSVP for the membership meeting on April 13th<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">[in person at CUMC or Morningside, or virtually on Zoom]\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><strong><em>&gt;&gt; If you can make it in person, stick around for snacks and drinks with your colleagues Postdocs and ARSs.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udca5April 20th: is THE day!!! \ud83d\udca5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But first, a little bit of background.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>In fair advance (January), we requested Columbia to start negotiations early. Instead, the University offered only April 20 as the first bargaining date.&nbsp;<\/li><li>We then followed up with multiple emails asking for the time of the meeting and the composition of their bargaining team. <strong>No answer!<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>Being neglected and kept in the dark by our Employer is unfair<\/strong>. We requested Columbia to start the meeting at 10 am.
